This is an article that appeared in our bulletin in 1994.

It is just as applicable today as it was then.

From: Someone Who Cares

In the book "What Men Live By" Richard C. Cabot writes.  We tend to worship our work, work at our play and play at our worship.

Our righteousness disappears from our lives in our public relationships at work, at play and in our communities and neighborhoods.  We cannot wait for worship at church to be over so that we can return again to our material world.  Then we wonder why is the church not growing?  We are paying the preacher.  We have a lovely new building.  etc.  Why are we not growing faster?

One of the real difficulties among Christians is that we are visible only on Sundays, we are the silent majority (minority) as we go about our daily lives.

JESUS  BECOMES  VIABLE  AS  A  MATERIALISTIC  WORLD  SEES  THE  RIGHTEOUSNESS  OF  CHRIST  IN  OUR  LIVES.

The teaching of Jesus behooves us to tell His story to other's.

God is not interested in piecemeal, shortsighted, haphazard efforts.

Everyday we must exhibit the righteousness of God - when we do that the world will be more ready to listen.

It is time for Christians to come out of the closet with their Christianity.

Too many hang up their Christianity with their Sunday-Best clothes.

I challenge you to live for Jesus, live with boldness.

Let the world know you love the Lord, dare to be a Christian, let your light shine.

We all must be involved in reaching out, for Christ, you can do it, speak a good word for the Master.

I am praying for you, have a great week.
