We're Back!!!!!

We had a great mission trip.  It was great to see so many good old friends and make new friends.

Enjoyed our visit with Billy, Barbara, the boys and of course Phyllis.  They have their struggles.

It was a joy to see Jim, Ethel and young Jim, fine Christians who love the Lord, pray for you daily.

Others that we had time to visit with were: Paul & Ann, Roy & Margaret, Daniel, Jennifer, Gary, Gavin, Tina and the boys, Linda & Beefcake, Clark, Julie and the children, Colin and his family, Bert & Doreen and their family, Edd and his family, Martha, Robert & Eva, Robert, Graham and his family, Gary & Lynn, Brian, Martin, Les and his wife, Sheba, Judith, Ricky, Jimmy & Linda and many others, but you get my drift.  We had a ball seeing you.  It was a pleasure.  Praying for all of you.  May God be with you as you strive to live life.

Prayer Request:  Derrick Bingam a preacher, pastor and church leader from the UK.  He has cancer, not much hope, we need to pray for him and his family and the church he leads.

What to do?

Bishop T. D. Jakes has a short lesson dealing with people who choose to exit your life.  His bottom line was, "If somebody can walk away from you, let them walk!"

Our response is to chase after people who leave our lives.  Preachers especially, I have seen them on the verge of a nervous breakdown trying to convince disgruntled members to stay.  This rarely works.  If you do convince them to stay, chances are their attitude will hurt others in the church.  Let them walk!  There's a better church for them, a church where they can work, be effective and be happy.  Let them bless another ministry.

I have heard young girls give their hearts, bodies and pieces of their soul to keep a guy who's not even a keeper.  If he doesn't see the goodness of your heart.  If he can't see your virtue.  If you have to cross the line of sin to make him stay.  Let him go!

If they can walk, let them walk with grace and dignity.

Who knows what they can do in some other church, maybe they will be used greatly...

My destiny is not connected to those who leave.

At the end of the day, it's what God thinks that matters.

God Bless. See you Sunday.
