Jack Martin has been suffering from kidney stones.  He is receiving treatment.
Doris Tunstall is having test run on her heart.  Barbara Rainwater, Doris Tunstall's sister-in-law, is seriously ill.
John Simmons is not doing well and needs your prayers.  John's sister, Edna Ruth Blackwell is also not doing well.
Annie Martin is not doing well and has requested prayers.
Genelle Hagewood had hip replacement surgery and is in rehab.
Clara Dodd, Kanda Upchurch's grandmother, had heart surgery.
Debbie Jones, Harry and Dot Carney's daughter had hip replacement on Tuesday at Centennial Hospital.
Beatrice Russell, Jerry Fagg's mother, is not doing well and still needs our prayers.
Remember  - Terri Byrd, Don Head, Gail Swann, Amy Eubanks- Issac Eubanks' aunt, Leon Tunstall,  Opal Wilson, Karen Sweatt, Ernest Dean Smith, Sr., Terry Byrd & Philisa Bennett.
 

Shut-Ins:

John & Margaret Simmons are at home.
Flo Harding
is at home.
Mae Frances Wilson is at home.
Redeana Adcock is at NHC in Springfield.
Mary Light is in Hickory Garden.
Remember all of the sick and shut-ins with calls, cards, visits but most of all prayers!


Sympathy:

Our Sympathy goes out to the Judd family.  Vechel Judd passed away and was buried Monday.

Homecoming:

Time to get geared up for our Homecoming which will be October 25th.  Start inviting friends, family and neighbors.

New Ladies Class:

All ladies are invited to a new study, "Sense of Presence".  We would love for you to come and be part of the class.

Trunk or Treat:

We need chili, deserts, drinks and most of all candy.  If you have a tractor and wagon for a hayride or would like to help see Jason Caudill.

Clothing Give-Away:

Our next clothing give-away will be October 17th from 9AM till Noon.  If you have winter clothes that you don't need and want to pass them on, bring them to the church by October 11th.  We always need children's clothing but can use warm adult clothing as well.

Congratulations:

Go out to Patrick and Kanda Hyde.  They were married on October 10th.

Wedding:

You are invited to the wedding of Kanda Jo Upchurch and Joseph Patrick Hyde at Green Ridge on October 10th at 3:00PM.  Reception following.

Capital Stewardship Campaign:

Thanks to all of you who support this effort to retire the debt.  These are tough times and you will be blessed for your sacrifice.  We have hit a new record.  Check it out.

Meals on Wheels:

Hungry Herman:

We need your help to stock the pantry for those in need.  Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner and there are people in the community that need our help.
 

Home Safe:

Just drop off any Home Safe donations in the Women's Ministry room.  Thank you for all donations.  This is a work that helps battered women and their children.  They need disposable razors, toilet paper and paper towels.

Men's Class:

Men's Tuesday Night Class has started back.  It is a great time of fellowship for the men.  Men mark your calendars for 7PM on Tuesdays.
